For now, I am glad bungie seems to be putting more work into maps than armor since the limitations in map diversity definitley outweighs the limitations in spartan permentations. None of them are terrible but none of them excite me either. However, they do NEED to add onto the current armor selection, especially the elites, and not just bubble helmets and miniscule thorasic changes but something impressive that fits the spirit that bungie has crafted for them, like Honor Guard. Then maybe the we will actually see players using the elite model. Spartans need more too. The hyabusa armor really reminds me of a power ranger and the EOD shoulders and EOD helmet are just silly. I kind of espected more from the permentations, and I think so did alot of other people. Thats why people got so attached to the recon armor because thats the kind of armor we expected to be able to use, impressive, distinct, and original (it was even in some of the promotional material.) Its a shame that bungie felt they had to keep it just to make themselves feel distinct....even though they had the flaming head permentation anyway (besides, you dont see any Ubisoft, Bethesda, Rockstar, Blizzard, EA, or Epic employees running around with employee only content. Bungie is a very unique developer but they are still a buisness with a responsibility to their consumers to offer the best content possible)....All in all I just expected more, from both the armors, maps, and from bungie, which all could easily rectified by extra content in multiple areas. (Remake Headlong and Boarding Action (especially boarding action,) the high def glory of halo 3 would finally do those maps the justice they deserve (especially boarding action))
