4th lol wonder what they will do for christmas? [Edited on 10.30.2007 10:33 AM PDT] Yeah I heard that WOW does alot for holidays so it is nice to see that Bungie is doing it too. Can't wait to see more and hopefully be apart of it. Looking foward to shooting down Santas sleigh, Storming his factory, going on a turkey shoot, launching fireworks at other bases, and killing cupid, sounds like fun. Now about weather and Night would be sweet to can wait to see what they do next.

the whole thing -blam!- blew. me and my party couldnt get into one -blam!- game, and waited in the lobby for over half an hour. by the time bungie announced they were 'fixing' it the whole goddamn event was over. PLEASE make sure your perks actually WORK before you screw us over bungie, thank you.

I'm very very disappointed with Bungie on this one! Everyone I played with loved this game and I played with over a 100 people that day. Also it was only around for a day in the middle of the week. you dident even leave it for a weekend when more people will be on. so i say bring it back for a while or permanently.

I wish that the Zombie game-type would have included a swat style.. If you shoot a zombie in the face.. he dies.. why not incorperate a similar style into were you start with a pistol and can find br/carbine to defend yourself against the undead. That would have been much more fun to me at least. Also, incorperation of more maps.. but that has always been a complaint of mine.. the Multiplayer favors certain map/gametypes over others... (ie. Construct/Epitaph are rare and Pit/High Grounds Frequent) or maybe i have bad luck..

I understand them being worried about people padding stats by searching for specific game types with certain people. But the fact is that you get neither skill or experience points in custom games, so this is a non-issue. I still say it would be a good idea to make custom games searchable - but I know this probably won't happen.

Of course they won't answer it. The same reason they won't answer the people who encounter DRE's with Halo 3 and Halo 3 only. Thanks for this Bungie, it was a fun idea, but... * 13 player ranked infection is great, now could we have 10 player lone wolves? * Zombies are supposed to be numerous but weak, as it was they were too tough. * The invisible game types sucked. If it had been 1 shield-less zombie with a sword to start it might have had a fun sneaking element. Once you have 4 or more zombies none of them should be invisible. * Lag was definitely more of an issue than normal, I imagine this is why none of the normal ranked games have more than 8 players. * It was fun if you managed to hold out to the end, or if you were the first zombie in, but dull as anything in the middle as you would respawn at the end of the map. When killed for the first time zombies should respawn where they were standing. * The zombied players should have changed to flood models (instead of blue-black armor), just cause playing as the flood would have been cool. Finally the whole Halo-ween thing was great, but too short. Could we have a guest ranked playlist that cycles interesting new types all the time?

*sigh* Sadly I did not get a chance to experience the Zombie greatness that took place on Halloween... *sniffle* I had made plans earlier in the month to actually have a life and go out [u]on a weeknight[/u] (shocker!). I really wish that maybe the following could take place: A: Please, Bungie... bring this back as a Social playlist at the very least. B: Just a little more heads up would have been nice (though I should have seen this coming). and finally C: 27 hours? Come on... sometimes you just aren't available... Bring it back this weekend!

Am I the only one here that went out on Halloween? Anyways, I'm definitely disappointed at the way this was set up, but happy to see Bungie holding special events. Two suggestions: 1. How about some prior notice for people who don't play Halo 3 24/7? 2. Available for only 27 hours? How about a week or at least 3-4 days next time.

i was kind of dissapointed i love how bungie is doing this holiday stuff but when i tryed to play i couldnt get into any match i played a few games that morning , i think bungie should bring it back this weekend or something this time fixed so i can accually get a chance to enjoy it

This really had potential.. but unfortunately I must say I was disappointed. I found that about half of the user created map and game variants were much more fun and more professionally made then what bungie cooked up! I believe there should be a infection map variant/game variant contest and the winner's maps/games get to be included into a permanent infection matchmaking. I mean if anything... what I really want is a way to search custom games.. some sorta filter.. get me?

This was effed up, I played about 4 games and loved it. But wtf the system was "Broken". It was impossible to join with a party. If this isnt going to be made permanent then it should be brought back for another 27 hours fixed so anyone who couldn't play can!! [Edited on 11.01.2007 3:49 PM PDT]

Bungie, please bring this back as a social playlist. I work and go to school and could only play for like 45 minutes but it was awesome. The few times when I was the last man standing I thought I was going to have a heart attack--jamming up your entryways with boxes isn't so good when you have 30 seconds left and you're trying to make a quick vehicular escape from a swarm of mad zombies! The one thing is, the zombies seemed overpowered. Almost every game ended with the Zombies winning fairly quickly. As a human, you barely had a fighting chance. Please please bring it back on social--it might finally get a few of my zombie-loving friends who I keep trying to talk into getting an XBOX 360 finally buy one. Cheap marketing, right?

i would have to agree with you because it takes a lot of skill to get these three achievements, but as a zombie who is invisible and has more strength it's not fair to those that have earned these achievements the hard way. a social playlist would be much better.

This was terrible. This was just a big excuse to give the less talented (or patient) players a chance to get their steppin razor, overkill, and two for one achievements. This should only be in the social playlists from now on if bungie decides to bring it back again.

I thought this was great idea, I really enjoyed playing the living dead playlists. However i found it very annoying that i couldn't play with any of more friends, i hope in the future when special games like these come out, i'll be able to play the games with my friends. Also most of the time i was playing, i found that there was alot of intentional betraying going, something should be done to stop that. All in all thought, a great idea and alot fun.

The playlists were a lot of fun. Working and having a family I didn't get a lot of time to play them I only played a few rounds but enjoyed it. Hey Bungie how about next time you leave the special playlists up for a week or so that way we can have some time to really have fun with it. I love the fact that you included player made maps as part of the playlists.

That was fun. Anywhere I can find some of the maps used? I never got to play on the Epitaph or Snowbound variants. :(
