•
Posted by: KrazyKrl I bet that that gametype will be so absurdly awesome; that it causes Lenin to come back from the dead; and pimp-slap Katie Couric back to the IHOP pancake bar. But I digress...
ROFL, that was really funny.
Gametype with probably Low-Grav, extra bigger explosivenesstaculartotheXTREME, invincible vehicles, and any number of cool things; would bring back the good old days... Of playing chicken with the warthogs in Blood Gulch.
Hmmm, chicken. Now I'm hungry, damn it ... Here's a game type idea that I think might be fun. I don't know how good an idea it is. Too late to add to the game now, I know. Maybe it can be added as a downloadable add-on: A gametype like dodgeball with a somewhat size-constrained map (like H2 CTF map, I think it's called Foundation. Sorry, I'm not a dweeb that has all the map names memorized). It would be the opposite of the capture the ball game type (or whatever it's called, I also don't memorize game type names :-). You try to minimize the number of seconds the ball is in your possession. If you score a hit on someone the possession passes to them. If you miss, the ball teleports back into your hands within 2 seconds and you retain possession. The person who has the ball can see markers for everyone, in case someone enables the game type on a really huge map (although this could be turned off to make the game doubly challenging, but it could get old. Like dodgeball, the fun is in trying to hit people, it's not hide-and-seek.) And the person who has the ball doesn't show up on radar and has extra armor, since people are going to gang up on them to keep them from passing the ball to someone else. I hope my idea makes it in some way. :-) Oh, and I think the shiny object is the H3 game box, or the box for the collector's edition. If you remember, the H2 not-so-limited collector's edition was shiny metal. I think the reference to absorbing light, etc., means it may have a holographic sleeve or something. That's my theory anyhow :-)
