Also, being in the same field, you should know that you have to adhere to a set of limitations/requirements or face the consequences (whatever they might be). I think it's commendable that Noah made a clean, consistent looking piece and stood out among the rest, but the point is he seemed to overlook a couple specifications in the rules that should have resulted in disqualification. Rules are rules, why have them if they didn't matter? It was kind of ridiculous that we weren't allowed to submit an icon with weapons for a game that embodies war, I chose to respect that rather than risk disqualification. There will always be sore losers in every contest, but I think a lot less people would have been upset if the winning entry wasn't in blatant violation of the rules.
