No you cant record -blam!- halo 3
Lets say for some stupid reason, you could, and lets just say thats what the X button is for. What the -blam!- are you going to do with the recorded footage? NOTHING. How can you get it to your PC? Windows Media? -blam!- that, its not Vista, so it wont happen.

The game is saved in a 3d interactive replay, you choose if you want to save it to your HDD. You can share it with people if youre the party leader in the pregame lobby, and possibly the post game carnage report. Its not a real video, per-say. Bungie said they were going to compress it a lot so that it will be a small enough file to share on the fly, so I think it will be closer related to a 3d, interactive, undetailed playback w/ flourescant projectile paths, and gamertags. Sort of like a 3d, interactive gameviewer in Halo 3, like the crappy one in Halo 2 (Bungie.net stats). [Edited on 2/9/2007]
