Another delve into the world of Halo 3 vehicles and weapons - this time Robt. McLees assists us in a tour of what's soon to be everyone's favorite spawning weapon - the MA5C Individual Combat Weapon System, otherwise known as the Assault Rifle.

The Assault Rifle in Halo 1 was okay. It was kinda weak, but it sure was a helovalotta fun to mow down Grunts with this thing, with no worry for ammo (10 mags enough for yeh?). Then Halo 2 came, and replaced it with my favourite gun, the SMG.Many people will say, "buyt teh br waz miore of a reppiulacemeint 4 teh ar!!1!!1!! lololoollolololollololololool." But, did the AR have burst fire? No, it had auto. Did it have a scope? No, it didn't. Did it make muffins? No, but neither does the SMG, or any other thing in Halo, except for the Grunts maybe. They look like little chefs don't you think? Ahem. Back to the AR. So they are going to bring it back, except more Battle Rifle-ish. I reckon it's gonna be cool, but I liked the 60-Shot Mag. It was a nice, round number, instead of 32. Maybe it was just too powerful for 60 rounds... Oh well. Bungie knows best. Oh, wait one thing Bungie... For Halo 3 make the SMG more powerful and give it a couple more mags to make it 300 max ammo instead of 180. 180 was too small, but 600 in Halo 1 for the AR was too big! Have it in the middle! I'm nearly finished now, just one more thing. As soon as any thirteen-thirty-sevens read this, they will stare in horror, then laugh, at my love for SMGs. I say to them, I say, "The SMG is fun! The Battle Rifle is boring!" OK, finished now.
