Seeing as how H2V will allow custom content in the form of user created maps and I am assuming there will be a dedicated and client server for multiplayer functionality my main question is: Q. How will the Halo 2 Vista client handle the dowload of H2V user maps? Will the user need to download and install the maps first like in Halo CE or will the server/client have the functionality to offer ingame downloads from the server or re-directed downloads (to a http server) for the user created maps? It is common for the user community to be responsible for the distribution of the user created content, as we do at [url=http://www.halomaps.org/]www.halomaps.org[/url] for Halo CE, so my question stems from the obvious need to estimate how much more bandwidth we will need to support downloads for the H2V maps.
