I don't. Henceforth I don't accept the events in its campaign as belonging to the halo universe. To me it isn't Halo if not made by Bungie or 343.
Posted by: collingwood13 It is a halo game rife with inaccuracies but still unfortunately it counts as a halo game.
Er... no. Other than the behaviour of the Elites in the 'Monsters' cutscene, there are no inaccuracies in the game extending beyond gameplay elements (Mark IV having shields) - but gameplay has never been a canonical representation of the Halo universe anyway.
Even though when you look at most halo canon the only fight at harvest was in space with Admiral Cole.
Again, no. There was the first battle of Harvest set during Staten's novel (Contact Harvest) which marked the first proper battle between humanity and the Covenant. Then they lifted Cole out of retirement and he went with 40 ships for the second battle of Harvest while Covenant forces on the ground searched for Forerunner relics (tying in with Halo Wars and the discovery of the Star Map).
