We Met On Halo 2
Hi there. I wasn't sure where exactly to put this post, so I figured I'd start here and would be told where to go (pun intended) if I weren't in the right place :)
I wanted to announce the engagement of myself (FemmeFatale666) and my fiance' (LordNewt), wedding to take place some time in the Fall of this year. He and I met here on Halo 2 while playing XBox Live. I was playing a team matchmaking game and a clanmate of his was on the opposite team. My team had won, but I was offering consoling words to the opposition and this teammate was endeared by my graceful attitude and promptly sent me an invitation to join their clan, Durandals Guard. I accepted the invitation, and it was during arranged games with the clan that I had met my future husband, LordNewt. I wanted to share our news with the Bungie community and to express my gratitude for making a great game. If it weren't for you, Bungie, it is highly unlikely that I would have met the man of my dreams as Halo and Halo2 are the only games that I play. Thank you again :)

Playing Halo? Getting married again? Exactly what is it that I should be ashamed of? I see nothing wrong with any of the aforementioned things.....tell me, just what is it that you have been smoking/taking/ingesting/shooting/snorting? I happen to be a proud mother of 3 great guys who enjoys playing Halo with my sons and my fiance and have happened to meet a wonderful guy on XBox Live while playing....I'm at a loss here as to why any of that would be wrong.
