Weapon Designs
So in Halo, why do the rifles mainly come in bullpup designs? The Assasult Rifle (H:CE,3,Reach), Battle Rifle (H2,3), and the DMR(Reach).
Was there ever any concepts of rifles that weren't a bullpup design? Excluding the sniper rifle of course. I have no problem with it, but it's pretty interesting that almost all the rifles are designed like that.
I like the SMG (H2,3) concept too, it's small, caseless. And the shotgun....well it's a shotgun.
What do you think of Halo's human weapons?

This almost sounds like the people complaining Halo's rifles weren't "futuristic enough!" Only so much you can do with magazine and rifle using weapons... Even then, You like the MA5B, and the MA5D, but not the MA5C or MA37, despite ALL four rifles basically being the exact same thing visually?[/quote] Heh, heh, heh. Starship Troopers comes to mind. The only problem I have with Halo weapons is that a 60 AR is better and the sniper rifle could hold more bullets. But at least the sniper rifle didn't have a microwave oven attached to it like the H4 demo does.
