Man o man, legendary co-op is an ordeal with any skull added after tough luck, catch, and fog. sure you might get a buttload of points with a few more, but your moms and girlfriends and wives will nag nag nag you for dying in the same spot over and over and over while you're supposed to be taking out the trash. "Halo 3 Anonymous" anyone? i'm in.

How do I play a Meta-Game to get those Meta-Game Achievments? Do I need to finish the campaign with all skulls on to get it? Because I finished it on solo on legendary. And I can Still only chose between Campaign - Matchmaking - Custom Game - Forge - Theater. What do I need to do so meta game shows up in my menu?

I like playing Solo Campaign on legendary with Iron, Tough Luck, Famine and Thunderstorm activated. True It's tough to have to start the level over [b]IF[/b] you die. However, I like to remind myself that [b]IF[/b] are the first two letters of [b] I F**ked Up[/b]. Hence IF I die that means I F**ked up. You can take your time with the levels aswell b/c the Iron Skull will give you an automatic 3x multiplier replacing the timer multiplier. It took you four hours just to beat the first level? so what, you still got the achievement and you didn't die! Which reminds me, I think there should be an add-on or patch or whatever for an Achievement if you can beat the entire game without dying once. You could call it the "MasterChief" or "I Believe" achievement.

Any game is made more fun with the Blind skull on, you play by sound and instinct alone. When you got that on you might as well put the fog skull on as well. The best combo to make the game a little more challanging is Mythic, tilt and thunderstorm. Tough luck gets obnoxious sometimes but its fun to have on on lower difficulties. Catch isnt too much fun on the higher difficulties but on the lower ones, that + cowbell = vehicle flipping madness! Ive found one of the easiest ways to make halo more fun is the famine skull! It makes you respect EVERY weapons ups and downs and to use your equipment much more wisely. The iron skull ive never gotten into, it can make a fun game into hell sometimes.

I like to use Tough Luck, Thunderstorm, and Famine on Heroic. Makes it just about perfect for me. Hunt down dodging, high ranging killing machines, scrounging for ammo... plus Cowbell and IWHBYD make it perfectly balanced for my skill. Haven't tried online co-op, though. Every skull must make the game near impossible. I had a hard enough time on "Cortana" with just legendary, no skulls. [Edited on 10.03.2007 3:45 PM PDT]

the game can get INCREDIBLY hard with even a few of these skulls on...props to those with all but iron on

by playing solo, i think my favorite skulls are catch, thunderstorm, tilt, cowbell and grunt birthday. especially with cowbell, because the explosions are huuuuge

I play Legendary solo with Fog and Famine enabled... It makes for very easy gaining of the meta-game Achievements. [: Of course, you should [i]always[/i] have the silver skulls on (apart from Blind), they just make the game more [i]fun[/i]. [: [Edited on 10.03.2007 3:32 PM PDT]

ok im confused on how skulls multiply your score, lets say ur on easy, and u have a 1.5x skull active, what does that do to your score? what about easy and 3.5x of skulls? im sorta confused

Thanks for the help, I've really been trying to look around for what to use for campaign scoring. EDIT: The way I got my scoring achievments was by playing Normal with Tough Luck, Catch, Thunderstorm, Famine, Mythic, Fog, Grunt Birthday Party, and Cowbell. It gives you a 10x base multiplier, more than enough to get the achievement even without the time multiplier. [Edited on 10.11.2007 9:48 AM PDT]

koool 1st!!!!!!!!! BTW my fav legendary skull combo is: tough luck, catch, mythic, it makes the AI better, and mythic just adds to the difficulty. [Edited on 10.03.2007 3:32 PM PDT]
