Graphically: Gamecube > Xbox > PS2 Gameplay: Xbox > Gamecube > PS2 Longevity: Xbox > Gamecube > Nes > SNES > Mega Drive > Ps2 online play: Xbox > All. Most played out of my collection: Xbox, then gamexube, then, quite a way back. the Playstation. So don't bother waiting for anything for any playstation, ditch it, and grab all the resident evils in full graphical glory on the Nintendo Gamecube, which in all ways is better then the PS2.
