Think about it: Does a revolution in gaming technology make poeple mad?

Obviously, you all probably know what I'm talking about. Do you ever notice how when something changes so dramatically in the video game market that nobody recognizes it and only complains? Like when people saw the new Nintendo Revolution controller they started making deragatory comments about it, or when Halo 2 was released (Please don't complain about it anymore. We have heard enough.). The only reason people have to whine about this stuff is because they can't adjust. Honestly, if it wasn't for changes in gaming technology, we'd still be playing with paddles, knobs, and 2 bit graphics cards! Wow. Pong for thirty years. How entertaining. Any comments, suggestions? This really seems to be an issue now, and I hope that with enough support we can really change how poeple think around here.

  • Hmm... I'm not sure I really want a two part remote control-style controller. Xbox 360 already has that; The Xbox 360 Media Remote. It's not that I'm an Xbox fanboy, or I don't like change, it's just that I fail to see how a long remote controll that is in no means shaped to your hands will work. The downloadable classics are cool, but Xbox doesn't really have any "classics" yet. So they have backwards compatibility with certain games if you buy the Pro package. Plus Xbox Live, as well as other downlaodable content. It's impossible to tell exactly what will happen in the future (unless you can time travel), so we'll have to wait it out. I agree with Shishka, but I'm just stating my opinion.
