I was wondering today... why is their only three usb ports on the 360? That ='s only 3 wired controllers. Now why would a smart company like MS support only support three wired controllers on the 360 instead of 4? Sure it supports 4 wireless, but wouldn't it make more sense if it supported 4 wired and 4 wireless controllers.
I think they are trying to sway people into buying the more expensive wireless controllers for full 4 player support, kinda like the way the ps2 had the -blam!-ab, I mean multitab. Very immoral to the consumer if you ask me and it sounds exactly like something MS is known for.

I'm pretty sure the average consumer wants to buy port extenders. In fact now that I think of it a majority of them don't know what an extender is. Poor moms want the most money saving deal for their kids and so do other poor people. Yes you could just shelve out for the bigger system and wireless controllers but as a previously poor person who lived in the ghetto I don't really know how the poorer community will take it. I also have a hard time seeing how the lan party shops, game stores that support lan tournaments and other related subjects would like using only 3 wired controllers to prevent stolen controllers on a budget. It makes no sense why the chipset could only support 3 usbs either making my theory of microsofts immoral decision on the usbs a more valid point. [Edited on 9/16/2005]
