I just bought Ghost Recon 2, primarily for Live Multiplayer, and was sadly dissapointed. The Single Player Campaign, so far, is pretty intense and realistically fun, but when playing Live, there's just too much crap to go through before you finally play. I sign in for Multiplayer (loads for two minutes), go to Optimatch (loads for two minutes), then pick a game in which it loads for two minutes only to tell me that the game has already started (while loading) and that I can not join. It boots me back to the Main Menu in which I have to repeat the process several times before ever playing. I know I can just select "Quick Game", so don't come in here flaming me, or however you adolescent hormone driven pricks choose to release your energetic anger, I just want a somewhat evenly matched game... reason for choosing Optimatch. Anyway, the Campaign still rules though. Anyone else played it? Any tips?
It really makes you appreciate the Halo 2 design when comparing it to other "lesser" titles. Sure, Halo 2 has it's faults, but it is a much smoother experience than it's competitors.
