Firstly, it's stating a fallacy. I know [i]I[/i] won't ever die.
Secondly, it personifies Death - an abstract concept can't exactly move around, therefore "death" cannot "come" anywhere. A better way (though much less dramatic-sounding, I must say, but hey, you avoid using a cliché) would be to just simply say "We will all die", or "death is an event which will one day involve every one of us".
