I've spent the last two days playing Halo 4 and I've had enough. I was hoping not to see another Reach but alas, I don't get this luxury. I'm debating whether it is even [i]worse[/i] than what Reach was. It's laughable.
Halo 3 is always going to be the smartest of the children. The bright sunspark which always shines through. It is just unfortunate it has almost met its end.....
Regardless, here's to another two years on Halo 3! Hooraah!

They release DLC, sometimes mere weeks after the game's release, so it was, or easily could have been, finished beforehand. Not only do they charge you for it, but they also limit the game's accessibility if you choose not to purchase it. You pay full price for a game under the assumption that you can play it in its entirety, only to find out that you have to pay another $10 or so, or else you're locked out of a significant amount of the online multiplayer. Then another $10. And another. Before long, you've payed over $100 for a single game, or you gave up on it and wasted $60. It's borderline profiteering. The worst example I can think of is what Bungie did with the Mythic II Map Pack. They made it exclusive to Halo:ODST for about the first six months after its release, so it couldn't be purchased separately on Xbox Live Marketplace for a lesser price. Then, they made it a requirement to have all DLC in almost half of the multiplyer playlists. Your choices were: Pay $40 for a map pack, or be locked out of half of the multiplayer, which you were able to play up until that point if you had all of the prior DLC.
