Cat's have been proven to be smarter than dogs. People incorrectly assume that dogs are smarter because they can be trained easier. WRONG! Cat's don't forget stuff; if you beat a dog, the next day he will forget and still love you, but if you beat a cat, the next day he will still hate you because he remembers it (not that I beat my animals or anything) Cat's remember where their toys are. If you hide their toys away from them, they find them from memory of where you put them. I could never keep my cat from finding that noisy electronic mouse and playing with it. It was interesting to see how they can manipulate items.Once, I saw my cat sitting there bored, so I looked and he jumped up on his two hind legs and pressed the ice-dispensing button on my refrigerator until a single ice cube popped out. then he played around with it until it melted. I've heard of cats flushing toilets before they drink out of them. Can dogs do that kind of stuff? NO Cats don't do tricks. They would prefer to be lazy and sit and nap. They do, however, perform tricks if they are rewarded with something they want. I tought my cat how to run through a mini obstacle course I set up in my basement for a piece of fresh meat. Sergeant Peppers (my cat) loves fresh meat.
