were do you find those screenshots on here and the halo 3 matches and whats the point in buying a 100$ statue thats just going to sit around a waste of money the brute chopper one is cool though but i wouldnt buy it.

Anyways, about the Elite at the bottom, I think it just looks different because, well, Elites as a whole look kind of different in this game. From the co-op pic we saw of our four heroes, the Elite looked really bulky and stronger. Its just a different style, kinda like how the Grunts are actually sorta scary now. it would be cool to see the elites make a comeback in multiplayer with some armor permutations. i thought they were gonna boot them from it. now about those hunters.

So quite a few people seem to think that the blue Spartan in the picture is a brute, well it’s not ,it's a blue Spartan,lol although I can see why some may think that as the helmet from a distance resembles the blue armoured normal foot soldier class brute seen in the campaign screen shots. But here’s the thing I’ve just got a feeling that we are going to get a nice surprise when we get our hands on the game, I’ve just got this feeling that Bungie have brute models as playable characters in multiplayer and you can customise there armour permutations to, Think about it, I mean there the same relative size to a Spartan and elite model, they will be identical in terms of being able to jump the same distance and running speed, they have shields like the Spartan and elite models. It also makes a heap of potential for Machinima videos with three different character models in multiplayer and also adding more variety visually to battles, I just can’t see the brute model being over balanced in multiplayer and I think it would work. Of course I could be completely wrong, and hec ! I probably am and to be honest I’m not even that fused if they turn out not to be in multiplayer. Just a thought though. excuse myself in advance if this has already been discussed. but are there elite armour permutations? becoz as shokwolf said the elite on the bottom on the screen. the armours looks very different with different looking plates.. could anyone confirm this? again sorry if it has already been mentioned!

Ugh... there's hardly over two weeks left 'till Halo 3 releases, and we still have folks complaining about the updates. People, grow up. There's no reason for Bungie should compensate for others' impatience, and to spend time now to reveal more stuff when we're this close to getting the game in our hands. Anyway, I thought the action figures, especially the ones of that brute chieftan and master chief, were pretty sweet. B.net pic was cool too. [Edited on 09.09.2007 7:18 AM PDT]

Man, all you guys saying how good this update was must REALLY be lost to this game... Not a lick of Halo 3 info... just pictures of MC dolls. I mean, they're fine and dandy to look at, but with the game shipping in 2 weeks, you'd think that just *maybe* Bungie would be able to throw us a bone here. Instead, they throw us a 56K nightmare... well done, Bungie. Excellent job.

oh..dude..did you guys see that purple elite at the bottom? no tell me, was that from multi-player? because if so...i cant wait for halo 3...i hope it is lol...he had the gold trim on his armor....oh gosh he was so cool.
