Using The Pistol in Halo PC v.s. Using the Pistol in Halo XBOX
Everyone knows that the Pistol is by far the best all-around weapon. On Xbox Halo, I OWN with the pistol. With normal health and shields, you're dead in three shots (BAM BAM BAM).
However, I find it to be more difficult to use the pistol on Halo PC due to the Lag Factor (LF). Even in a very fast server, the LF is still present. I put the cross-hair on the target when they're running and I miss. I put it a little ways in front of them, and sometimes I hit them (definitely not the 3-shot kill).
So in the opinions of some experienced Halo PC players, exactly how far ahead do you put the cross-hair in front of the target? I know servers will be different, and when you host your own you can put the C-H on the target, but I can't host very well.

Yeah, it is a lot harder to use the pistol on the PC, but I like it in a way. Its nice that the pistol isnt such a dominate weapon now. I hated the fact that it is the only weapon people ever use or get good at on XBox. I see a lot more variety with the weapon choices on Halo PC. On XBC all everyone ever uses is pistols. Of course the keyboard and mouse tend to balance out the weapons IMHO. I still think the pistol is very usable on Halo PC. It just takes some practice.
