Everyone knows that the Pistol is by far the best all-around weapon. On Xbox Halo, I OWN with the pistol. With normal health and shields, you're dead in three shots (BAM BAM BAM). However, I find it to be more difficult to use the pistol on Halo PC due to the Lag Factor (LF). Even in a very fast server, the LF is still present. I put the cross-hair on the target when they're running and I miss. I put it a little ways in front of them, and sometimes I hit them (definitely not the 3-shot kill). So in the opinions of some experienced Halo PC players, exactly how far ahead do you put the cross-hair in front of the target? I know servers will be different, and when you host your own you can put the C-H on the target, but I can't host very well.
