In 2 of the Halo books it says that inteligent A.I. constructs die after about 7 years of life. Cortana being the smartest A.I. ever produced is thought to have an even shorter life span than this. However when she entered the Control Room on Halo, she copied so much data that she was slowing down considerably in the third Halo book. She even admited to herself that its possible that she shortened her life span. She the proceeded to enter a highjacked covenant ship wher she assimilated even more data on anything she could find about the Covenant. She also managed to find a way to create copies of herself so that she could unload the data that she was picking up onto the copies, as well as be in two places at once. Now my question is, if she has managed to find a way to copie herself isnt that some sort of a gateway to her immortality. And on a further note, with her newfound copying ability she could be in more than one Spartan at once. Meaning that we could possibly use her in multiplayer?? [Edited on 4/14/2004 7:46:06 PM]
