ODST's " Orbital drop shock Troopers"or Hell jumpers are marines but i guess you could say the elite of the marine, what they do is drop in little pods from orbiting ship's threw the atmospher of a planet and land or "crash" at the designated area were troops are needed fast. oh the reason why they got the nick name Hell jumper is for the really high temperature in the pod while going threw the atmospher.
