Frankie mentioned a book he is writing and it has to do with how Halo was born, is this correct? The reason I ask, I am 31, never played video games until one day in November 2001, my roomate played this game called Halo... it has been a great ride ever since. I am interested in how it all came together and looking forward to the story (if there is a story (even if there is a story and you cant tell me there is a story)). Thanks and also looking forward to the next podcast, keep up the excellent work. PS - since your podcasts started, I started playing the Halo2 campaign on Heroic and realized how much I SUCK... so much that I am now playing Legendary (for now).

its definately a different assualt rifle so it will sound different, a more shallow clip on it i know that much

I shall ask the same question again, cause i really want to see it answered, 1. Has the Assault Rifle's sound changed to the origional sound or something more beefy? 2. How many in total Support weapons are there now? There are 3 confirmed, but are there any more?

I completely agree with an 'Official Bungie Halo 3 Tournament' that would be so cool, maybe put into different regions to begin with so that the connection element isn't a factor...I live in the UK and my internet runs at 512kbps with a 256kbps upload, its such a chore to play...upgrading before the 26th of september i hope though. I do hope there are regular leader boards like there were with Halo 2 to begin with too, dont let cheaters discourage the boards, they made us feel like we were aiming for something and had a larger 'place' within the community...

those are awsome ideas, that would be cool.....so you just save a film you made from the game and if you think its funny or action or ext. then you just put it on XBL halotube?....cool i think there should also a tournament every year unlike h2

ALSO, lol... A 'haloTube' on xbox live with all the users videos and you can rate them and have top 100's in comedy, action, machinima etc. Then you get to comment on them or leave video responses via your xbox 360 camera or microphone. And the user could even add a 'commentary' feature that you can toggle on and off that overlays the video uploaded Bungie, you should so hire me for these ideas! :)

Another thing i was thinking would be cool is having the ability to share the videos to your pc from your xbox, e.g. downloading software from Bnet to your pc that is an engine / video player that you can then convert into avi's or something. PLEASE someone make that possible, then no more capture cards needed! Put Pinnacle capture cards out of business! lol. Think about it, you could change all the camera angles via your pc after sharing the small 10mb file to your pc.

odd...still doesnt explain whether the technology for capturing the users voice is there along with the other players and recording them all into a not so large file for sharing via bungie.net or xbox live halo 3 interface

It would be, i wished i saved a bunch of things from halo 2, i play alot of everything but XBL, i havent played for a while because last time a i played it started lagging on mine then 2 days later the internet and electicity went out but everything went back on except Tivo and internet and that took a week and a half to get back, but i would play, but mom is still mad about it even though that was in april

i dont know, possibly since it might have sound in the recordings in campaign if you saved it i think you would hear everything they did, said, and how they died (hearing a howling voice of pain, cant wait ^^) but i think it could be possible, i dont know so i could be wrong

Heres a good question, I understand that Halo 3 saves games by not recording the video but saving what happens in the game line by line worth of code, allowing the engine to recreate what happened exactly. But, what if you want to record the voices when the other players talk, or being able to record yourself in an audio file and that being synchronised with the code...is this possible? will this happen? I always hated not having my voice on my halo 2 videos

Question for the next Podcast: You guys have given us a lot of new things you have put into Halo 3. Is there by any chance you could talk about the stuff you took OUT of Halo 3, and why? Let us know why the feature didn't work like you wanted, or new character... Or something along those lines.

here is my question In the EGM magazine it listed a few features including messing with ammo capacity of a gun... does this mean the total amount of bullets you can hold for the weapon or does it mean you can adjust the size of the clip for the gun (ex. having a sniper rifle that can only carry one bullet in its clip but still can hold the maximum 20 or so in reserve) just wanted clarification

I'd like to know if custom button configurations will be available. I am a 'green thumber' (melee and scope swapped) and i would greatly appreciate the option to move my zoom button to a bumper.

Yeah I have been keeping up with halo since Halo :CE and I remember when I heard halo 2 was coming out. I would look all over the net to get info on weapons, vehicles, characters, and story lines. After halo 2 came out I was put to the floor of how awesome it was. I missed days of school to play the campaign mode. The multilayer could have used some work but it was and still is a great game. I foresee this game rocking my face off and my friend and I plan to play it split screen co-op all the way through in one day. I remember the old days of 16 smelly guys on four tvs and xboxs playing FFA on Hang 'em High. Now I can play with my buddies that we all have gone our separate ways and never get to see each other. Halo 2 was unlike any game I had played before with the experience and I feel my boys and bungie will bring it again this go round. As for the Podcast I love being able to keep up with all the news on everything halo 3. Its really good for those trips back to the parents house.... I love the Podcasts and will listen even after halo 3 comes out. Keep up the great work guys...
