Should the community have elected spokespersons?

One of the things i've always admired about EVE online, was CCPs desicion to go above and beyond forums and arrange a community elected council as a route for players to make requests for changes and improvements to the game mechanics, presentation, and game content of Eve Online. With all the rumours flying around about destiny being a FPSMMO or Open World Sandbox game, do you think our community could benefit from a similar arrangement?

 • This will eventually evolve into Bungie politics. I think the way we have it now, with the employees posting and us commenting in their thread is fine how it is. Having a council or a republic isn't needed for b.net.
