Should the community have elected spokespersons?

One of the things i've always admired about EVE online, was CCPs desicion to go above and beyond forums and arrange a community elected council as a route for players to make requests for changes and improvements to the game mechanics, presentation, and game content of Eve Online. With all the rumours flying around about destiny being a FPSMMO or Open World Sandbox game, do you think our community could benefit from a similar arrangement?

 • I don't think so. Bungie makes games that they want to play. Yes, they care about the community and are excellent at interacting with their community, but it is not up to us to decide what they do. They'll do what they want, and nobody here should feel like they should have a say or in turn feel hard done by if Bungie does something that they dislike. This is not government. It's an online gaming community of fans passionate for what our Blue masters give us. We take it with open arms and either like it or don't, but in the end, none of it is up to us and it shouldn't be. That's my opinion on it, anyway. I just think that too many people feel entitled to some sort of say in, well... everything. Cheers
