THANK YOU. Finally, someone who sees this game for what it really is. Nothing special at all, just another shooter.
Posted by: Galva If you really believe that you are pretty pathethic. Halo will only be remembered because of it's overhypedness. I mean seriously lets compaire it to other games. The end of all games is or a GTA or Final fantasy 7. Halo is nowhere near that. What you discribe as Western media culture ,you shoudl describe as American media culture. Halo 2 sold 6 million in america alone and only a mear 2 million abroad world wide. Halo 3 isnt a benchmark in anyway, its visuals are being surpassed by a game wich is a year older (gears of war). It's gameplay and animations are straight from 2001 (since the first halo animations havent changed). And it's story had much potential ,but ended up being WEAKSAUCE. I really hope you pick up soem games later on this year like: Mass effect assasins creed ,bioshock ,Call of duty 4 ,Uncharted drake's fortune ,Ratched & clank future tools of destruction. Those games are next-gen gaming. And next year dont forget fable 2 ,alan wake ,gta 4 ,final fantasy 13 and ofcourse Metal Gear Solid 4. When you have played all those games, Halo 3 will be nothing more then a distant memory of a game that could have been alot but ended up beign nothing, you probably wont even remember it.................
