Bungie working on a new ViDoc?

In the mail sack from 10/5/12 Googlz asked the following question:
What is the most irritating part about map design?
One of the employees replied with a picture of Chris Carney. The photo looks to be taken from a Vidoc. The last ViDoc Bungie released was in 2010, and if I recall correctly they(Bungie) weren't wearing "Destiny" shirts back then. What also leads me to believe this is that Bungie is mentioning more and more smaller details about the game. One of the more recent ones was in the most recent Breaking in Interview. It was a small little blirp about the new world being anything but silent. May the darkness be ending soon? The release date of their new project is Q4 of 2013. We knew about Reach nearly 18months before it released. The new IP is well, totally new, they're going to need more time advertising. I'm just rambling now, what do you guys think? I'm I connecting dots on two different pages? ~Quinton~

 • Most companies go with the have X amount of time for advertising, reveal the game a year or more before the game comes out. Bungie has been bitten in the ass with this before though, Halo 2's E3 campaign demo. Also, hype gradually declines overtime. Having a reveal and the game come out months after that reveal... perhaps that's the best thing for a new IP. Remember the last guardian? How big of an impact it first made? How much hype there was for that game. It's been years since it's reveal. The hype has died down severely. It's not even on the radar.
