Has the update influenced you to be more active?
Ever since the update, I have made more threads than I have on bungie.old. I am making much more posts now too. I'm not really sure what to make of it, but I feel a bit more connected to the website, and to the community. The site itself is just more fun than it was before.

Considering I got perma'd on old Bungie.Net yes I am much more active. I've shifted from Private groups to the community now. Still not sure what i think about the new layout though.
