Was Halo CE considered a more team-based or lone-wolf fps?

I was going to say team based for the most part. Though kill times in CE are pretty fast in comparison and a single Chief can usually dig out a nice lonewolf spree. I'm also asking this question in a team gametype perspective. So in team slayer, would team work be highly/more encouraged in Halo CE than in the sequels? [Edited on 10.03.2012 10:20 AM PDT]

I Feel like games with a little more diverse interaction among opponents creates team-oriented play more valuable. I also think that when players have more health it encourages more team-shot routines.
