Halo 3 Birthday thread
Due to a lack of birthday thread for today, September 25, 2012, here it is.
Now that we have had this shining jewel for five years, what were/are your fondest memories of playing it?

Happy 5th bday, Halo 3! I loved every second of this game, and got up before work to finish the campaign the days after it came out. Got the Legendary edition at a midnight launch, played the hell out of online for quite a while. Probably my favorite memory, though, came a few weeks prior. Sat outside a Best Buy early on a Saturday morning to get my Halo 3 edition console (this game is why I own a 360) in the middle of a huge line. When the employee came out and asked, "Is everyone here in line for a Wii?" I proudly raised my hand and said, "Nope, Halo Xbox 360." (Already had a Wii since launch day.) Made me feel good about my dedication to this amazing franchise.
