this feeling is called sad..

its sad to think that through it all and all the good halo days that, bungie arnt thought in the same light as halo any more its sad to think i used to be on this website every week looking halo stuff now, bungie have gone from the company everyone talked about to the one everyone has forgotten, so remind me again why did they get rid of halo? there best and indeed the best game of all time ? eish i was still young when all this was still popular and awesome...

  • This isn't the first time they have created a successful series of games and then moved on. Marathon and Myth were both VERY highly regarded in their respective niches and Bungie decided when "this story is complete, we could make more, but we're not going to, we'd like to do something different and more interesting to us". Each and every time that has happened, they've come up with something that has been (in one form or another, to one extent or another) genre breaking and/or genre defining. Leaving MS and Halo behind is not really that unique an event for these guys. They've made similar choices before, and each time, their next project was impressive.
