My first Youtube video... Halo Reach Cinematics

Hao Reach MP gameplay And one I made today 9/20 I thought would finally give my capture card I have been holding on to for the last 6 months to make this... I was going to put a track behind this but I thought this would be good on it's own. It's nothing fancy... just a random MP game in BTB I thought I would try to make a vid off of and post it on Youtube. Any ideas or suggestions in camera angles and directing would be great as well! Thanks! [Edited on 09.20.2012 2:32 PM PDT]

 • that wasn't too too bad, had some good angles on certain shots. what i would suggest is... mainly because you have your own capture card: watch you video yourself, now that it's made and i'm sure you'll notice what could have been done better. for example... there is a few cuts that just jump from one place to another without any connection, maybe you could use a transition in those (i personally find "fade" works best). also, there is no... how should i put this... story. are we following the hog ? made a few good connections with that or are we following the banshee, that was good too or are we following you ? and your gameplay ? you know what i mean ? as far as directing... since you know what you want to show and have a capture card: after each scene ending you know where you're going to start up again right ? so before you end the scene, direct the camera in that direction or close to, so the connection to the next scene will almost be automatic with maybe a little editing or the other way around... start the next scene where the last one ended (calculate the time neede for travel) and get to where the scene starts. hope you understand what i mean. i would also play around with attaching and detaching the camers to and from players/characters, oh and if you don't want to show the GT/tags... record what you want/need in theater, save it and than play it (press the B botton to eliminate the tags) and than record on your capture card. other than that... as lond as YOU like it, that's all that matters and the music, well that just ads a bit of ummm emotion to it in my opinion
