Should "better" members be recognised?

By "better" I refer to members (or groups of members) who make contributions to the community. For instance, by the way they post, sharing their artwork, stories, organising game nights, etc... Why not have a way of identifying the role models in this community?

  • Perhaps they should. But, on what grounds do we identify "better" members? General opinion? A vote from employees (the ninjas are the "better" members and have a job.) A vote from the ninjas? A vote from the people with a large list of people who've done stuff? Then, you need to implement what you do with it. I certainly would like to see who people think are the "better" members, but, then again, I may still dislike them. Now, it all depends on the criteria of the "better"ness of them.
