Bungie Weekly Update
Very, very short Weekly Update today, but some good news about failed Halo 2 map downloads, at the very least.

kinda off subject but i wonder what bungie thinks of the leaked halo 3 footage of gameplay from the new map Last Resort a remake of zanzibar.

THis is how i got the maps to work. If you bothered to pay attention, we're complaining that we are not able to get the maps, not that we dont know how to get them. We all obviously know how to or else we would've asked how. Most of us have tried everything that people tell us to try to get the dumb maps and have tried downloading them 200+ times. Bungie you guys are not cool. I was able to buy the new maps and play on them, that wasn't a problem. But since then, I haven't been able to sign on and play.

idk ppl me and my friends have all had the problem of not being able to download the new maps but we all were able to get them the day they came out still.....all we did was try once change accounts and try again and boom it worked but my other buddy just tried twice and it worked the second time and well same with his brother...just keep trying and make sure you got the credit card that will allow the new charge lol

I still can't get the maps either though I paid for them on the 18th as soon as my deposite hit the bank, like 5:00am. They are there for me but I just keep getting failed installation after it does not download the file. Well, I wish Bungie would get it fixed, heck, if you have to go out and buy 3 new Dual Core Xeons to get it to work and a new T1 or OC3 line then do it! Dangit, there are so many loyal Halo2 fans and this is how you start to drive them away to other gaming consoles. Making a map pack part of the match making set without having the resources available so all that are trying to download them can, this is really sub par considering who Bungie/Xbox is part of, come on people!

u don't need to download them.. or atleast u shouldn't have to pay for them because we already pay for xbox live and should have all the features of xbox live on every game.... otherwise isn't that against the law since they're breaking xbl's rules? Maps should be free if they are required...
