Bungie Weekly Update
Most of the [i]cool [/i]info was revealed on Tuesday in the Multiplayer Vidoc, but here's some stuff on matchmaking and more.

well i agree with u, but the main thing is my mom wont pay at all for the update, even the $4.this should be free if it is requiered for matchmaking

F-that, I'd rather have all the old maps, and no dled maps, while still retaining BTB skirmish in its proper ranked self! F bungie, F those idiots who made the maps, F microsoft for pressuring bungie into this. This is how games die a quiet death, when their life was so rich. Goodbye Halo 2, it was fun while it lasted.

I like the fact there is no cheating now and also the new maps are sweet! Awesome update although we could use a little bit of spice in the matchmaking playlists. Maybe Clan match/1v1 back? =D lol

when you say btb, i assume you mean BTB Skirmish, correct? BTB slayer is already unranked. i think thats what has Mr. Zero a tad confused. basic text can make covnversations difficult to say the least, lol.

It's very upsetting to hear about the new matchmaling playlist. I really liked btb and now that you guys are making it unranked it's not going to be taken as seriously anymore. You guys should reconsider making btb unranked because I have been reading the posts on this and it looks like there is alot of other people that are pissed off and not just me. I doubt that I am really going to be listened by you guys, but im just putting in my 2 cents.

I'm sorry I have to say this, I like you guys really, but you have to wonder, 'Are you folks at Bungie actually listening to any of us at the moment?' Anyone can look at the forums and see that this new playlist thing sucks, in the views of the entire halo community you're trying to help, this idea sucks!

i have talked to a lot of peolpe on halo 2 xbl. I have come to the conclusion that many think SWAT should come back as a ranked game. Me and others are also wondering why it was changed to unrank.

That sucks, everything in that update was bad, especially the playlists. Why the hell are you making BTB and Rumble Pit unranked?! That not only leaves us with just 5 ranked playlists but also cuts off a large amount of the halo population. Also, why did you even bother saying that the new maps would be for hardcore fans too, if you won't even bother putting them into Team Hardcore why say that? You just said it to increase the hype which is NOT COOL! Whoever came up with these ideas BLOWS!

I think they should have 1v1 and clans matches. otherwise whats the point of even having clans?

YOUR GETTING RID OF BTB SKRIMISH!?!?!?!?!? Don't do that. Please. That is the only thing I play. With No BTB Skirmish, I'll probably leave Halo 2.

The weekly update mentioned that due to the Halo 2 auto-update, some mm games will "fall throught the cracks." I assumed that this would be for the first day or so but everytime I have played since the update, two or three games per hour have been lost. Has this happened to anyone else and is there any way to see these games or are they lost forever?
