Special Q&A Today!
For this week's update, Frankie and I are going to take questions from the field and answer them online in a psuedo real-time chat format using the Bungie.net forums. Things are bound to get a little hectic but we think it will be fun.
The first thing we need people to do is ask questions! You can do that in the news forum - easily accessible by clicking the "discuss this story" link at the bottom of this page.
Before you ask your questions, keep these points in mind:
1. NO QUESTIONS ABOUT CAMPAIGN or the STORY! (we won't even acknowledge these questions)
2. Don't spam and ruin this for everyone. We'll be banning people.
3. Questions about life inside Bungie, the final crunch, Alta's haircut, the Beta, etc.. are all fair game.
[b]At approx. 2:00 PM PDT Frankie and I will login to the New Mombasa forum and start answering questions that have been posted to this thread.[/b]
We'll hang out for an hour or so and have some fun. =)

Did you guys fix that crap from Halo 1 where the rocket launcher didn't shoot where the reticle was aiming during a fall, jump/turn, etc.?

Allright i will sum up my previous q's so tat it could be manageable; Is the FRG in the final game? Is there gunna be a magnum pistol besides the M6D in the final game? Is the shadow in? Is the creep drviceable in single and multi? Is the troop transport hog in?

okay, i have a Q about Dual weilding, if you have two weapons in each hand, you use the left trig for the left weapon and the right trig for the right, but.. you also use the left to run, so how do you run with 2 weapons? how much damage does the Wraith produce? how does it feal to know your producing THE GREATEST game of all time? do you tease your friends outside of bungie (do you have friends out side of work...JK please don't punish me) about being able to play the game, when they can't? (i know i would :) yesss i know) can you modifiy team colours? i.e. insted of red, have black with silver strips, and make them like a mixed team with Human and Elites,(like if bob is human and joe is elie and there on the same team they keep there race) will the sniper rifles recoil be dampened if your crouching? how much different is Multiplayer from the first, my friends who are coming over after school ends and playing it plan on ganging up on me cause they think i will beat them like in the first. how do you look around corners (or was it cancled) i thought you would use the D-pad to run (up on pad) look around corners (L&R) and maybe lie on your stomach with down (this probably wan't in the game just an idea i had. what other insignias are there, i knida whant to know so i can have it picked out so i canstart playing faster. (can you show pics or is that a no no) why don't you come up to canada?(Yah!! we won the WC in hockey) i would take a sick day from school to go to Toronto to see you guys.

1 Will Halo 2 own us all?? 2 Is there any new human vehicles in halo 2?? (just yes or no answer would be perfect!) 3 Will the classic "one weapon + nades" be good enough, or we will we forced to dual wield in order to win something?? 4 I LOVE BEES. What was that all about? 5 IMPORTANT: Will be campaign last at least as long as the one in Halo? (HAlo 2 campiagn ending in only 9 hours would be the ultimate slap in the face for us fans)

What new vehicles will their be and what are they? What new weapons will there be and what are they? How many vehicles and weapons will here be? How many multiplayer maps are there and what are the ones you havent shown yet? How big will the mp maps be? What new enviromental effects are there e.g snow rain etc. will there be more melee weapons other than the plasma sword? Will the phantom be drivable? Will here be human flyable vehicles? Is the big cannon seen in the e3 03 trailer still in? Are the features like sprinting peaking round corners etc still in? Will there be more mp skins other than the elites and spartans? Will halo 2 be longer than the original? will there be more emplaced turrets?

Also beyond just recognizing clans, will there be online ladders/leagues" It depends on what game mode you want, unlesss your playing with your friends or hostring a non-ranked. When you want to join you select the type of game and it puts you in the most filled and best connection and rank level to you. Otherwise unranked is basicly un-listed and friends only, which I am un-happy about, bungie knows stuff we don't so it may work out better. - Trigun
