Spike Grenade

****possible spoilers**** I read the new Halo book that came out, Ghost of Onyx, and they have trained 3 new companies of Spartans III. The first 2 batches, Alpha and Beta Company, were wiped out but were successful in their missions. The third, Gamma, was sent out on a mission minus 3 or 4 squads. There are 330 Spartans in that company, minus the 3 or 4 squads remaining in Onyx. So perhaps thats the Spartans their talking about. It should be by that exact time line as when Master Chief came back from the Second Halo and met The Flood. They've been made public. Maybe Bungie include them in the game. They have different armour though, not the Mjolnir armour that Master Chief and 3 other Spartans II from Blue Team (that survived) were wearing. The Spartan III's are wearing SPI Armours, no shields, but has chameleon ability. and they are all kids, 10-12 years old.

yea the running away part is what i was getting at, and it would work well agaisnt unshielded targets ex. meele to take down shields then hit em wit a incendiary nade, and my motivation for saying yhat was my love for fire, jeez cant you let a guy dream

Yep, check it out. Already a few haters of the spike nade alive at the MLG site. Honestly, I am a HUGE MLG fan. I love watching those guys play. It's awesome. But when will they learn that H3 is NOT going to be H:CE? My God... enough already!

I have always wanted something similar to a claymore in halo, but nothing that reacted exactly like a claymore, a spike grenade is perfect. I love how bungie makes weapons to have multiple purposes instead of cluttering the game with 30 weapons that come down to everything halo has

You're right, the whole thing is technically supposed to be UNSC, in which case I could understand the confusion, but I think it verges off from that sometimes, just for a few sentences, such as in the "spartans" case. But yeah, KP disclaimed it, so that part must've been unintentional.

I pwn all my friends but I'd mediocre on Live. =P Edit: In reply to DangerDoom, why would you need an incendiary grenade? It's not like you could burn the level down, that would just be stupid. Besides, it would probally take 5 seconds for the fire to even take your shields down. And then you just just run away. A sticky version would be useless because energy doesn't start on fire.
