Hey, Try This!

Intro: These are a few odd things that I have recently figured out how to do on the computer. Also, I should tell you, if you are using a Mac computer, you should save yourself the trouble and leave now. Following this introduction is a list of things you can do on your computer. I dont know if it will work on all operating systems, but it works on XP. If you know of any other things of this type, post them here, or just leave a comment on one of the things already posted. 1. Solitaire- Start a new game of solitaire, or you can do this in the middle of a pre-existing game. Press Alt-Shift-2. You will automatically win. Good for winning bets. 2. Freecell- Start a new game of freecell, or it can be done in the middle of a game. Press Ctrl-Shift-F10. A menu will come up. Click abort. Then double click any card and you will instantly win. 3. Pinball- Start a new game on the 3d pinball game. It must be a new game. As soon as the ball appears at the starting point, type the following: HIDDEN TEST. It must be typed with the space. Then click on the pinball machine and hold the mouse button. You can now drag the ball around the thing, hitting whatever you want, racking up millions of points. Also, after typing the same line as mentioned above, you can press the h-key to set a high score of 1000000 points instantly. 4. Minesweeper- Start up the game and type in XYZYY and then hold shift until the pixel in the top left corner of your screen turns white. As you move your cursor over the tiles, the pixel will change from black to white occasionally. When it is white, you are over a safe tile. If it is black, you are over a mine. Thats all that I can think of. Now its your turn. Post any weird computer things that you know.

What if I'm on a Mac and I'm running Bootcamp? Eh? Did you think of that?! (Bootcamp runs Windows on a Mac. I don't use it, but if I did, I sure would let you have it mister!)

I will be sure to remember this for the next time I make a thread that has to do with windows. [Edited on 1/13/2007]

  •
Posted by: SpaceGhostFlyer The Minesweeper one won't work....
Try it a few times. Make sure you press the right buttons, then hold shift for like 20 seconds to make sure you hold it long enough. Sometimes it doesnt work, just keep trying. Oh, and sorry about the double post, my last one was crap, and I thought I saw someone post after it. [Edited on 1/13/2007]

Bootcamp is one of the programs one could get to run Windows XP on a Mac. I don't use it, though. I bought a Mac because I wanted a Mac. If I want to run Windows, I'll use my HP desktop.
