Bungie Weekly Update
Oh noes! The power is out in half of Western Washington. Bridges are closed and Bungie has shuttered its windows and locked down 'til this little Typhoon blows itself out. The update proper is canceled as a result, but if you click through anyway, we'll address a couple O' rumors for you.

yea i no i was pisse when i found out that u couldnt play as the brutes at all i the third halo i bet the game is going to be -blam!- sweet but in halo 2 we got to play as the other bad guys so why cant we play as the bruts right.

I live near Seattle so I can sympathize. I just got my power back this morning. I thought of you people at Bungie while the storm was raging. :) First they layer the roads with ice in November, now the blow our power poles half-way up the Cascades!

yeah, but seattle only got hit with a 69 mph wind. where i am, it was still fresh so it was like 80 mph. luckies. by the way, seattlites seem to panic at the slightest things, like snow. you guys get an inch of snow, and suddenly the place is megiddo. same with wind. get some generators, -blam!-tards! not saying you guys are f-tards. just seattle in general.

it would be nice to play as a brute, there also saying that they MIGHT let you be the big brute with the big giant hammer when you win the game but i don't think they will

Too bad the power is out, I wanted to see Mister Chief. :( I couldn't make it to the Penny Arcade Child's Play Auction, due to lack of funds. I may be working two jobs, but I still gotta pay for my rent and my XBL membership. :-P Can't wait for the video!

Thank God! as soon as I saw "Brute"and"Playable Character" I cursed at the heavens and screamed NOT AGAIN!!! I almost shut down my computer but I was curious enough to read the rest. I'd be glad to reduce their population and all of the other species in the Covenat as well expecialy Elites and defenceless Enginers ( if they make the game ). I'm also glad to hear the Brutes will look tougher because in halo 2 I cringed every time I shot one because they looked so much like gorillas who are an Endangered species unlike most the covenant but dont woory I'll fix that.

NOOOO!!! i Wanted to play as Brutes SOOO BAD they are so cool with there little metal hats and there like hairy elites, but he didnt say anything about multiplayer :).... oh well i guess i can keep dreaming. [Edited on 12/17/2006]
