Machinima IGA-Do you think Halo 4 deserves game of the year?
Did Halo 4 deserve game of the year? I don't understand all the praise going toward Halo 4. I find myself playing 3 or Reach more often than 4.
What do you think? Did you vote? Do you think 343 did a good job as a new studio? As a previous Halo player, what did you think about the campaign, multiplayer, and spartan ops?

Halo has [i]always[/i] stuck to its roots while building on its own solid foundations, Halo 4 is no different. As for what it did better than its predecessors, that's [i]entirely[/i] subjective. From my point of view, it told the best story since ODST and was interweaved with the universe as a whole better than any of the other games in the series. There is no game which can 'define' a year in gaming. There are so many genres, themes, mechanics (etc) covered by so many games, there is and never will be a single one which defines a year's worth of releases.
