At least she is only 2 years younger.
Posted by: Mastergee At least she is only 2 years younger.
What?
At that time, Hopper was 20 years old and Jane Doe was 15.
Betting thats all BS to get to his money. Why wait two years?
Posted by: floppy willy Betting thats all BS to get to his money. Why wait two years?
Because tons of rapes happen all the time that don't get reported, or reported years later.

What does age have to do with -blam!-? A 17 year old can -blam!- a 30 year old.
Posted by: Mastergee At least she is only 2 years younger.
What does her age matter, anyway? She was raped. Being raped is bad, no matter your age.

Way to see everybody here upholding the "innocent until proven guilty" standard. THIS POST IS SARCASM

The longer you wait the less likely a conviction is going to be made as there would be hardly any evidence.
According to Herman, Hopper plied the teenager with alcohol and drugs before the assault. Jane Doe's attorney says multiple incidents of -blam!- assault occurred in the months that followed.
To be honest, you'd think she'd wise up after the first time.

To be fair I edited the post.

Being raped can be the source of all kinds of mental and emotional issues. it isn't like being punched in a bar fight.
Posted by: NewRadical12 Because -blam!- victims in this country are stigmatized by people like you who immediately assume that women are lying about being raped.
Oh I -blam!- like this post. Brilliant assumptions there, and a brilliant assumption of who I am. Nope. Just to make myself a bit more clear, I don't automatically think women are lying about rape. Infact, I (sadly) know a girl who has been raped, and when she first told me, did I believe her? Of course I did. So don't go throwing your accusations around like that.

who is dennnis hopper?
Posted by: floppy willy Just to make myself a bit more clear, I don't automatically think women are lying about rape.
No, you just did in this case...
-
Fun fact: In the state of California, if a participant is a minor, it is still considered statutory -blam!-, even if they are consenting. Since she was 15 at the time, I don't think he has much of a leg to stand on.
-
Posted by: XxExpungexX who is dennnis hopper?
Was an actor. He played Bowser in Mario Bros movie. Played the bad guy in Speed.

The comment section of that article is disgusting.
