Pokemon X and Y announced!
Pokemon X and Pokemon Y announced for 3DS
Nintendo has announced Pokemon X and Pokemon Y for 3DS, the first handheld mainline Pokemon set in a breathtaking 3D world, for a worldwide release in October 2013.
The game features new starters Chespin (grass), Fennekin (fire), and Froakie (water)

oh my god, I think my dreams are coming true. I have always wanted a game where you can travel between all the regions. I hope we can come up with a better name than Rainbow though. Also I haven't even beat the Elite 4 in White 2 yet.

Anyone think the original dragon will be the legend? Kyurem Reshiram and Zekrom put together? That is the legend after all, but it would make the most OP pokemon in existence.

Just one game makes it a $160 tag, and no one is going to buy just one game for a new system, because then you're essentially paying $160 for one game. That price will be closer to 200-240 by the time you get the system and enough games to make it a worthwhile investment. I doubt it. I don't think the 3DS could handle that. If this is true, it will be the most anticipated game of 2013 for me.

I dunno... the name "Rainbow" sounds rather childish. Then again, it's Pokemon. I'll still buy it regardless. I hope they can somehow manage to make the story still interesting while visiting all regions. It's going be one long Pokemon game if they do that, so they'll need to keep people entertained. I remember in Soul Sliver you could visit the first region, but the time I got there I was bored with the game.
