Since the early 70's, absolutely no one has ever gone back to the moon. Only unmanned landings, being a few probes.
I'm starting to think they saw something. Something that made them never want to venture there again. But what did they see?
Just so you know, Helium 3 is a good reason to go back.
Posted by: Judge Infinite
Posted by: RYAN_LENNON Maybe they didn't see anything. Why would they need to go back if nothing is there?
Helium 3.
I remember reading somewhere that the amount of Helium 3 on Mars is still believed to be low. I don't think it warrants spending lots of money to just mine Helium 3 if there isn't that much of it on the moon. NASA's working on other plans at the moment. I think, at this point, NASA should be working on exploring more of the solar system rather than digging mines on the moon, for the time being.

Please, I went to the Moon the other day, there's nothing to see there! Just that lame cheese wholesale.

Because governments do not yet realize the value of Helium 3 - but, we also don't have an efficient way to use it yet, either.

Because we actually encountered an alien species known as the Moon Women who captured all the astronauts from the last moon mission and sent back clones in their place. Now the governments dont want to risk more human lives for the Moon Women to capture as snusnu slaves. And besides those missions are expensive.
Posted by: Direxy Because money doesn't grow on trees kid. How can you possibly justify spending billions of dollars of taxpayer money to go D*ck around in space in places we've already been. The moon's a dead rock, nothing more.
What? There are plenty of reasons to go to the moon. Set up a permanent base and use it as a staging ground to go to Mars and to mine the precious metals on asteroids. Someone doesn't know what he's talking about.
Posted by: teh Chaz Because there is literally no point in going to the moon anymore The only reason anyone went there in the first place was just to say "Hey we can go to the moon"
Helium for party balloons
