Do you regret being a big gamer?
I sort of wish I didn't waste my high school life gamin all the time instead of trying to be socially normal having the best time of my life.
Gaming just isn't appealing to me as much and I discovered having a life is fun. How bout you guys?

Gaming is what got me interested in computers, and because of that I excel above others at my school in designing powerpoints and writing papers (I knew what MLA and APA formats were in 5th grade).

Meh, I still get by. It didn't bother me much because my high school was filled to the brim with all this dumb gangster bs I didn't want to get involved in. I still find great enjoyment in games. I tend to balance the games and life stuff though.

Plus you don't get to play Black Ops 2 when you're socialising face-to-face.

I thanked myself and video games for my life style of avoiding drama and ass hats. I still had quite a few physiological issues emerging out of High School.. but they were not of a result because of excessive gaming.. but because of interactions and situations that were not avoidable in High School.. And the many times I felt I couldn't express myself openly. I'm starting to recover that and my co-workers are starting to see how amazingly different I am. I feel very different too. More on top of things and less imprisoned in my mind.

You obviously enjoyed playing games rather than socializing. Just like someone who would rather read books than socializing. Don't feel bad, for what you do as long it isn't illegal, like killing someone. I regret nothing. I socialize, watch anime, and game. I did not hang out with a lot of people in High School just for the simple fact that I thought some of them were tools.

I don't play as much as I used to. Once Halo is done, I'm done with gaming.
