Competitive Players should design MP

It's just the truth Look at Halo 4 The core is excellent but it is covered with a dog pile of casual -blam!- that just make it bad Big maps Instant Respawn Care Packages DMR breaks almost every BTB map Don't get me wrong Halo 4 is 10000x better than Reach, but yo, this game can be the Greatest of all time if some competitive player like Bravo was to give the settings for default Halo 2 was competitive and had a high population Halo 3 was somewhat competitive and had a high population Halo Reach was a broken game designed for casuals and had an OK Population Halo 4 is a good game covered with casual -blam!- and is declining pretty fast in population Competitive and Balanced Games bring in more people 343, YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS The reason CoD is always on the top is because it is always the same 343, you are not going to get new players by putting stupid gimmicks in Halo.....

It essentially helped jump start xBox Live. Halo 3 had almost no competition. CoD4 came out around the same time, and hadn't gained the popularity it now enjoys. Halo Reach had competition from MW2. Halo 4 has competition from BO2.

  • "Casual" is just a term used by folks as a justification to not listen to others with a differing view. Example: I disagree, but because of my disagreement I must be a casual and thus my opinion doesn't matter.

  • Halo 4 is weird. At first, I liked it, but eventually I just saw the flaws and honestly, the game at its core is good, but the gimmicks ruin it.

  • Big maps are fine in any game, as long as the player cap fits the size of the map that is. Like bf3 on consoles, some of the maps are way too big for a console player cap.

  • No, that's the worst idea I've ever heard, you "competitive pros" would have no Idea what you're doing, you have no Idea what balance is, how map dynamics work, how lines of sight have to be fairly balanced, depth, height of maps, if it should be a Vehicle map, or a close quarters map... Now, if you gave the best [b]forgers[/b] in halo free reign to make a map... well then you'd have balance, map dynamics, and proper maps... all of that good stuff that everyone likes. All the other stuff IDGAF unless you nerf my full auto weapons. if you think DMRs ande BRs should beat out the rest I don't want you even THINKING about weapon sandbox. The ratio of 'competitive' players to 'casual' players is probably in the range of 1:10,000. If you want your game to sell you will design it to be easily accessible and fun.
