I was listening to the Chief's service record on the Dawn and they mention that the Pillar of Autumn is a frigate. Just an error correct?

Honestly, I got over little Halo cannon mistakes after Halo: Reach.
Posted by: UphillMercury It's an error, and a bad one at that. The Pillar of Autumn, as others have said, is a Halcyon-class cruiser.
Well, in that one trailer there are halcyons that can barely hold few pelicans... EDIT: Well, not "barely", but they definately seem like they're frigate/destroyer-sized... =P Also, hangar placement is weird...
Posted by: TheSpiderChief Mistakes were made by its type way before Halo 4. For example: During the brief cutscene in Halo 2 where the Pillar of Autumn escapes, it is portrayed by a Marathon-class cruiser, rather than a Halcyon.
Well, to be fair, in Halo 2 they probably only made Marathon-class cruisers, because of limited resources or whatever, and hoped that would pass; they look quite similar after all. This however, has no reason to be wrong. Why are there/have there been so many inconsistencies, haven't they got a room of underpaid, fanatic nerds? [Edited on 11.17.2012 12:10 PM PST]
