The first Destiny game is going to be on current systems. The next gen consoles don't come out until holiday 2014.

Bungie has been talking about their brand new world, over and over, unless you've been living under a rock, you can find it on youtube several statements from them, and even in the front page you can see just a few artwork of what they are doing. The release might change but all the info was taken from the Infinity Ward/Activision case, which sucks for Bungie since they wanted to keep it secret.
