Terramorphous
How the hell do you kill this guy? Me and my friend will get him down to a low health and he will just become a Black Hole Thresher and down us, while we can't do anything to counter it. How do you stop him from doing it?

If Borderlands 2 had an economy (it does not, item duping ruined that) then I could understand it, but as of right now some bosses and weapons are far too low for spawning. Most bosses are fine with the drop rates, but like I said, the big bosses need a buff to drop rates, and chests need a better chance too so they're worth opening.

Killed him a few times legit then he just became boring and we did the cheap shotgun/shield thing on him. No good loot anyway though. Already have Etech and can't be upgraded.

Who do you farm then? BNK3R?[/quote]Boss enemies have a higher chance of dropping only a certain amount of Legendary items (I think BNKR drops the Bitc and a shield, for example). You can't farm effectively by only farming one boss unless you really want something from it that he has a higher chance of dropping. Some bosses, for some reason the final boss and the raid boss terramorphous, have the worst drop rates, they really need to fix that (Doc Mercy has a bad drop rate too for the Infinity, but that's the only thing he has a higher chance to drop). I change my farming spots. I'm trying to get a Siren Head from Henry, an Emperor from the 4 Assassins, and a new White Death from Gettle. Generally it's more efficient to farm elsewhere, until they buff Terra's drop rates, don't bother unless you want a Blood of Terramorpheos( it helps Vermivorus spawn...a little) Also, I hope they buff the chest drop rates. Had one decoy (usually me) getting his attention while others light him up with everything they got from a good distance. Tenacity Relic is good here as it gives extra time in Fight for Your Life. Trust me, you will get down if you're in a fair fight.

My friend (Axton) and me (Siren) always played behind the glitched rock. Until, last night we actually went around the area killing him. He has the CC and I'm a great healer... it works pretty well :p

You need someone always at the top ready to jump down if everyone is downed, it's also almost impossible with any less than three people.

Don't use the Bee, it just shows you don't even want to try. (and it IS getting nerfed) Staying near the entrance at the incline is a good spot, if you jump correctly from the incline and down to the main field, you can dodge some of his melee attacks. Save Tentacles for second winds if possible. Weapons I recommend are the White Death, Mongol, Baddaboom, Slagga, Hellfire (any fire weapon, he takes a bit more damage from fire), and spam grenades where he pops up. Interestingly he barely does his vortex move when my friends and I fight him. I think he does the vortex if you take too long. I picked it up last night while you guys were arguing about it, it is super powerful. Except you have this incredible shield capacity trade off. That being said, without the legendary class mod or good weapons I can almost solo Terry. That seems a little powerful.

If you don't have a Siren to pick you back up, your two choices are to either deal enough damage such that he retreats underground, or sprint in the opposite direction immediately after he creates his black hole. If you happen to be right next to him when he does, you're pretty screwed.

The Bee + Conference Call shotgun turns Terramorphous into a big push over. You can farm The Bee from Hunter Hellquist (you get the quest from Mordecai called 'This Just In'). It actually turns all bosses into a cake walk. Using the Bee isn't cheating at all. Good luck killing him normally. Terra is so cheap, especially since he can hit you THROUGH the rock with his tentacles. Lame. [Edited on 10.07.2012 9:12 PM PDT]

If you are both level 50's with decent gun's he isn't that hard. Also, gunserker poops on him.

1. Go to warrior. Get his orange shotgun. 2. Go to hunter hellquest and get his orange shield. 3. Go back to terramorphous and wreck -blam!- up. I can beat terramorphous in 30 seconds using this.
