Because everything does suck. People just don't realize that everything has always sucked. Except Grunge and 90's rap. Grunge was awesome, then Cobain and that Alice in Chains guy died and Creed came into the world. Same for rap but with Tupac and Biggie. Also, you are not a 90's kid. You were a toddler during the 90's and don't remember it well. You're an early 2000's kid, if anything. And this is coming from someone born in '97.

I'm pretty sure a 90's kid is someone who grew up in their childhood AND teenage life in the 90's meaning you'd have to be born in the late 80's. I was also born in '95 and I don't consider myself a 90's kid because I can hardly remember the 90's.

90s kid does not mean you were necessarily born in the nineties. A nineties kid is someone who spent much of their memorable young life in that decade, key word being memorable. Being born in 95 just makes you a 90s baby.
